Grow in your faith
Cultivate Groups are the third step in our discipleship process.
Cultivate Groups are small groups of 3–4 people of the same sex focused on deepening their understanding of the Scriptures and sharing honestly about their own stories and struggles. Through these groups, one finds the accountability and encouragement to take his relationship with Christ to a deeper level. Cultivate Groups meet at least twice a month.
Joining a Cultivate Group is the third step in our discipleship process because it requires a deeper commitment to study God's word, transparency with others, confessing sin, praying for one another and for others.
What Cultivate Groups Do
Each Cultivate Group selects a book of the Bible to go through together. We offer helpful resources for thinking through the passage and applying it to your life. When you meet together you'll share this with each other.
CONFESSION & ACCOUNTABILITY
We want to be a place where sin doesn't hide. It's easy to hide our sin out of fear of judgment or our own insecurity. Cultivate Groups are a place to be honest about your struggles with those committed to loving you.
PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
Cultivate Groups bear one another's burdens. By praying for each other we speak to God on behalf of our brothers and sisters and ask for his transforming grace to bring freedom and hope.
PRAY FOR UNBELIEVERS
Cultivate Groups help us grow by loving our neighbors. Each participant is encouraged to think of someone to share the gospel with in their life. We want to pray for them by name and ask Jesus to reveal his love to them.
How will you grow?
Cultivate Groups are intended to help you grow as a disciple of Jesus by learning how to study the Bible, confessing of sin to one another, encouragement, and praying for one another and for those in our lives that do not know Christ.
