Brothers in Christ
We want the relationships among the men in our church to be strong and rooted in following Jesus together. To be honest, it's easy for men to isolate themselves and try to have it all together. The truth is, we don't have it all together. Our goal with ManTime is to create space for men to build friendships with other men that will encourage them in their walks with Jesus.
ManTime is a great way to get to know other men in the church and to give newcomers at RPC the opportunity to get connected. We enjoy providing events that allow our children to join their dads as well, to remind us of our call to model Christ-like manhood for our children.
We want to be like Jesus.
What we do
Throughout the year we have several ManTime events.
It's a great way to get to know other guys and begin to build relationships that are rooted in following Jesus together.
Father/Child Canoe Trip
Every year on the second weekend of June, ManTime heads to the Texas hill country for our father/child canoe trip. We leave on Thursday morning and return on Saturday afternoon.
Father/Child Rangers Game
Every fall we head to the ballpark for our father/child Rangers Game. We go to the last Rangers home game of the season, which occurs on a Sunday around the first week of October. Lunch is provided beforehand.
ManTime After Hours happens on Wednesday nights at certain parts of the year. We will gather weekly for 8 weeks. Each night one guy will share his story and then the rest of the men will pray for him and his family.
Super Bowl Party
ManTime throws a big Super Bowl party every year to watch the game. Chef Kenny fixes up all sorts of food that you will no doubt heap upon your plate as you kick back and enjoy the night. As always, invite a friend.
